Some dude from yahoo answers had a cool question. Now, its obvious he hasnt taken my secret quiz, but ignore that, and focus on his question, and how I answer it.

Question:Why Is It That Women Who Get To Know Me, Are Surprised To Know How Nice I Really Am ? I really don’t know why their first impression, is that I would not be such a nice guy .

Answer: Well, I don’t really get why that’s so important to you. There’s obviously another hidden question you’re asking beneath this one, but I’m note sure I detect, so I’ll just answer the general theme…

Yes… Women do stereo-type guys, and they put them into categories, like you have the sexy, hot but bad… badboy rogue… Then you have the nice guy who is nice, but ugly, socially bad standing and unattractive all around.

Now these are the two most general categories, and some women have a bit more categories, but they rarely exceed 5-6 stereotypes they got. So, if you don’t fit one of these, then they’re surprised. Like if you’re hot, or you have that kind of a charismatic, socially popular aura, but then they talk to you and you’re nice, they’re surprised.

To give you an anologue, its like seeing a super-hot, super popular girl, who everyone wants to get into her pants… and you accidentally end up having a conversation… And to your surprise, she’s really into deep and geeky subjects, and she has these amazing philosophies and analytical interests. You’d be like, wow…
